“Hey Farva, what’s the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?”
I don’t actually know if Best Intentions has mozzarella sticks, but I won’t lie, this line was all I could think the whole time we were in this rad bar. It is fitting and not at all surprising that these two fun humans spend a lot of time here, and I was very glad to get to photograph them here before they grabbed the dog for a round of play in the neighboring park.
Speaking of which, Penny. What can you say about Penny? For starters, ball is love, ball is life. Like for real. It takes quite some time for Penny to truly tire of this, as evidenced by photos below and the fact that we were still playing ball when we got back to their place. It’s not often that I’m around dogs that are actually probably smarter than me. I’m not sure how I feel about that. All I know is that if Penny had opposable thumbs, we’d all be fucked.
As the years progress, I find myself booking more and more couples who make me confidently say ‘Yeah, I’ve found my people.’ Josh and Marissa are definitely those people. These two snagged up one of my prime October dates and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding and party with them in Milwaukee this fall.
Alright, off to heat up some mozzarella sticks.
